The Myssaail

It is well known that, when a Reidvyn had fallen from grace in the Ages of Creation and Legend, they were demoted to Dr'in. But what happened should a Reidvyn be exceptionally good and respectable? The Myssaail are practically Reidvyn that feel into Pryston's particular adoration, ones he granted with a very special gift of becoming one with the forests. A wood without a Myssaail was a wood without a keeper, since they became servants to the son god Gren. They could speak with the trees, sing to the trees, help the trees to breath and grow. Legend says they can even take the form of trees when they feel it necissary, time when, perhaps, Humans or Dak or Ssark come near. They revel in the isolation, and usually connect with one specific tree, and, when that tree dies, so does the Myssaail.

Myssaail take the appearance of faded Reidvyn. In giving themselves up to the forest, they gave away a part of their mortality and have the appearance of a mostly solid spirit or ghost. Their skin takes on a browner tint, though, as well, from taking the form of a tree so many times.

Where there are trees of any sort, there is most likely a Myssaail nearby.
