The only race not to be created in the Age of Creation, the Bloodslayers came about in a very strange manner. There was a small tribe of Humans under the name Terrance that lived in one of the darker regions of Midacia during the Age of Legend, and, as time grew on, their little village became under the power for a very influential and terrifying Bloodless. Through his tyrannical grip on the people and the assistance of a very devious Mekon with an usual penchant for sciences, he replaced their drank up all their blood and replaced it with....something that enabled them to live despite a lack of blood. Whatever the strange replacement was, it not only kept them alive, but it kept them enslaved to protect their Bloodless leader at all costs. Whenever anything with blood came into the vicinity, they would feel an uncontrollable urge to attack and kill that being. Thus they were given the name of Bloodslayers, sworn biologically to protect all Bloodless and kill all "Blood" (pretty much anything living on Aryneth). Only a Bloodslayer knows how to turn a normal being into what they are, but it involves a heavily scientific process. They have almost all died out by the Age of Return, but there are a few renegade warriors out there with a notoriety for attempting to kill almost anyone they see or at least anyone who threatens a Bloodless.
Being without blood and with some artificial form of vital fluids, the Bloodless are just pale images of what they used to be. Their skin is startlingly white, and their hair a faded shade of what it used to be (most commonly pale blonde or a light gray). Their distinguishing feature is a pair of startlingly red eyes, made even more dynamic by their pale skin.
Bloodslayers have one purpose in life: to protect the Bloodless and slay the Blood. Nothing else matters. At least, that's what it's been like for Ages....
