The World Unknown

The World Unknown consists of six seperate contenents, each with a god, a Maja, and a "mascot:"
The northernmost Glacier....of Wintaer, Orange and Green Maja, and the fox
To the southwest, Kyano....also of Firea, Blue Maja, and the bat
To the east of that, Laurasia...of Aerella, Grey Maja, and the hawk
To the southeast of that, Midacia....of Hadesari, Violet and Yellow Maja, and the human
To the west of that, Kassir....also Firea, Blue Maja, and the serpent
To the west still, Analisia...of Pryston, Brown Maja, and the spider

This is a currently UNFINISHED map of Aryneth. It's a very long process creating a detailed map of an entire world, so it will take a while before all the mountains and forests and lakes are completed entirely.

Glacier (Glay-see-ear) Marked as No. 01
In the far norhtern reaches of Aryneth lays Glacier, a land of ice and snow. Habited along the islands and the slight bit of mainland that sit on the foothills of a great mountain of ice, it is cold there even during the month of Ka'arande, although the more southern islands can reach a very pleasant spring during that time. Cities are almost always fortified into impressively gigantic keeps, to keep out the terrible snow and freezing winds.
Major Cities:
Janeah, in the kingdom of Klout
Valhino, in the kingdom of Freyan

Kyano (Kigh-on-oh) Marked as No. 02
Rivers lacing through it like veins, Kyano is really just a grand series of islands, some large and some small. They experience a full range of seasons, and many cities have popped up due to the excellent potential for sea trade. However, a lot of the cities are not exactly compatable, and the land of Kyano is almost constantly wrecked with war between the different nations.
Major Cities:
Ansaloma, in the Valley of the Swallow
Gynnocota, of the kingdom of Gynnocota
Birk, of the kingdom of Aktel

Laurasia (Lore-ay-shah) Marked as No. 03
A land of beauty, serenity, and diversity, Laurasia seems to have it all. A variety of seasons paints the land in constant beauty, from the great spanning plains of long grass that dances in the wind, to the thick ancient forests that turn a bright pallette of colour when the temperatures start to drop, and then back again to the mountaintops that look over all this rich splendor in their stony silence. Some of the most beautiful cities accompany one of the most beautiful lands, as well as the infamous Hall of the Majani. It is peaceful, serene, and beautiful.
Major Cities:
Beal, of the Kingdom of Beal
Mount Freeland, of the kingdom of Freeland
The Hall of the Maja, in the Great Laurasian Plain
Gwnn, in the kingdom of Amelodicia

Midacia (Mid-das-see-ah) Marked as No. 06
As dark as the god who sees over it, Midacia is a heavily forested land also known for swamps and bogs. It is a highly superstisious realm, thought to be the closest of the six to Hadesari's place for the dead. The people there are even more nervous by the presence of the vicious and random Mekon on the islands bordering the eastern coasts. The land, where there are not forests and swamps, is rich and furtile, though, and much of Aryneth's crops derive from that region.
Major Cities:
Lorcrades, in the kingdom of Lorcrades
Lucavi, in the kingdom of Valuca

Kassir (Kah-sear) Marked as No. 05
Sailing around Kassir in a ship, one would notice the lush jungles that practically pour out into the ocean, looming taller than towers and thicker than a Dak's beard. Teaming with life and sound, the jungles are a very misleading gateway into the land. As one moves deeper inland, away from the water that gives the tropical forests life, the sunstar burns it all away and, eventually, all that is left is a seemingly barren desert, hot, dry, andseemingly endless. A great varity of societies call this land of fire their home, which makes it seem all the more exotic to the other cultures of the world.
Major Cities:
Kassir, in the kingdom of Kassir
                      Oasis, in No-Man's Land
Gatland, in the kingdom of Gatland
A'aefer, in the kingdom of A'aefer

Analisia (Ahn-ah-lis-see-ah) Marked as No. 04
Even the wind here is seems to carry the whispers of the Ancients. A very cultured land that keeps its roots deep into its tradition, Analisia is where the supreme art of Ana'aek comes from, and seems rich with the gods' blessings. A beautiful realm with fields of wildflowers, forests of small, twisting trees, and glorious mountains on one end, as well as fascinating red valleys and platues amid perfect-blue lakes on the other, it's no wonder people find inspiration to get in touch with thier gods here.
Major Cities:
Analisia City, in the kingdom of Jejeiro
Mechani, in the kingdom of Jejeiro
Belfor, in the kingdom of Sestunea
