The Gods of Aryneth: A World Unknown

The World of Aryneth is large and vast, and such a world needs to be divided among several leading dieties, rather than just one. What follows is a brief compelation of the different gods of Aryneth, detailing their supposed characteristics and powers.

The Main Gods

These gods are the ones considered "the Main Gods." Without them, there wouldn't be much of Aryneth at all, much less the existance of the demi-gods. There are six, excluding the Ultimate God, the Source, all detailed as follows.

-Pryston:
God of plants, animals, Dri'in, and the Brown Maja (earthen elements). imagined by most to be a tall Reidvyn, pale and thin, with long blonde hair and soft blue eyes. Solemn and refined.

-Aerella:
God of laughter, love, mischeif, Elaime, birds, and the Grey Maja (wind elements). imagined to be an Elaime with sparkling brown eyes and golden hair that cascades in curls. Merry and enthusiastic.

-Firae:
God of war, horses, Sagareans, and the Blue/White Maja (fire elementes). imagined to be a Sagarean with a black coat and mane, sun-browned skin overa very muscular upper half, chisled face elaborated with a goatee, hair short with a small pony (get it?!) at the nape of his neck. Fierce and violent.

-Wintaer:
God of fertility, knowledge, Humans, and the Green/Orange Maja (water elements). imagined to be a very beautiful, "full-figured" (not quite fat, but not stick thin either. curvy) Human with long silverish hair and icy blue eyes. Maternal and caring.

-Hadesari:
God of life and death (Yellow/Violet Maja), the Ana'aea'aek, and the Styrix and Sair. visage is unknown because he's imagined to be so beautiful that he has to wear a mask, and is tall and thin like Pryston, but not as tall. Mysterious and seemingly sad.

-DiraSkyria:
God of evil, deception, mistakes, and the Black Maja. takes many forms, but is imagined to be a beautiful woman with dark hair, mismatched eyes (left is very blue, right is very green) and a scar down the right side of her face. Manipulative and sultry.

-The Source:
God of everything. no one dares to venture as to what the Source looks like. Often represented as a ball of light, or the sunstar.

The Demi-Gods

Each Main God of Aryneth has a small grouping of Demi-Gods below them to do the harder work around the world. These gods are not worshiped as much as the others, but are very significant in the lives for the every-day Arynethian.

-The Ana'aea'aek (Styrix, Sair, and Se'elaime):
the "Fates." They determine loosely what happens with an individual, both alive and dead, and tend to the Ana'Aryneth, the "tree of life." Although the species who bear Styrix and Sair's names are deamon-like, the two of them kept more Human-like visages to appeal more to hadesari, their overseeing god, but keeping their bat-like wings and horns. Se'elaime is THE Elaime, with long, straight blonde hair, wide wistful blue eyes, and gold-tinted bird like wings, but she also has horns. rarely seen without eachother's company. Sair is conniving, Se'elaime is sweet, and Styrix is somewhere in between.

-Tibell:
The goddess of Time. Sometimes said to have wings (time flies), sometimes not. Often cloaked, hood over face, but sometimes shown as a very fresh-faced young woman with relatively short blonde hair (to her shoulders) and black eyes. Both lighthearted and heavyminded.

-Samenaheim:
The agent of death. Also often pictured in a conceiling cloak, but revealed to be very beautiful and haunting, although appearing male, with long brown hair, black eyes, and slightly sunken in cheeks, often dressed like an aristocrat when not cloaked. Business-like and discreet.

-Ayamein:
The goddess of the day. and like the day, she can be bright and cheery or rainy and dismal, a pretty, short and slender (petite) Dri'in with hair red like the sunstar, straight and cropped around her chin, and cloudy grey eyes. her clothing reflects the weather, as does her many many moods.

-Tenemein:
The god of the night. similar to Ayamein in disposition, costume and mood reflecting the weather. physically, he is said to be a strong, tall (imposing) Dri'in with black hair like the night sky and pale yellow eyes like stars.

-Gren:
the Groundskeeper. said to take care of all the plants all over Aryneth and make sure they grow correctly. imagined to be a young, tanned Dri'in with dark, shaggy hair and equally dark eyes, always with dirt on his hands and clothes. rarely seen without his unusually large wolf companion, Julian. serious and straightforth.

-Awrik:
the Keeper of the Creatures. said to take care of all the animals (creatures OTHER than the major, "intelligent" races) of Aryneth. imagined to be a little Human boy, with wide, curious green eyes and a tuft of wild dark red hair. imaginative and creative, like most children tend to be.

-Anexavier:
the god of technology and machines. a very stern behemoth of a man (Dri'inish) with dark eyes lost among his dark beard and wild hair. arms like white tree trunks smeared with dirt, like a massive blacksmith. solid and grim.

-Makani:
the god of weaponry and strategy. a small Dri'inish old man, appearing frail and weak, but very strong in reality and a master at battle. small dark eyes are squinted as if in the sunstar too long, and his head is bald save for a black pony at the nape of his neck and dangling to his bottom. jovial and wise.

-Lesali
the god of luck and trickery. An impish, thin Dri'in-like fellow with golden blonde hair hanging past his shoulders but usually pulled back and green eyes. dresses with flair and style, and carries a long ebony cane with a sunstar capping it. mischevious and a jokester.

-Brehana:
the god of art and beauty. Long dark hair and dressed with an Analisian flair (the Asyentai of that area is of art as well), she is seen as a svelte and gorgeous Dri'in and beauty follow to whereever her small feet land. Gentle and appriciative.

-Cavalli:
the god of reason and sound judgement. Dark blonde curly hair, shoulder length, sometimes seen in a simple gown, othertimes dressed in armour.

-Saijin:
